The 20th and 21st May sees the 2nd Allam Humber Junior squash event organised by The Humber Junior Squash Academy and hosted at Hull and East Riding Squash Club Chanterlands Avenue. Last years success is expected to continue attracting top England junior squash players to battle it out to win the respective age groups. The Humber Junior Squash Academy will have a number of England ranked talented juniors there trying to take the medals. Strong contenders such as Aisha Forster ranked number 7 in England will try for the girls U11, Zoe Kaiser and Charlotte Fish will both attempt to take the girls U 15 event, Yusef Forster will be one of the top seeds in the boys U13, while fast improving Ben Robinson will be no push over in the boys U15s and in the boys U19s, a new age group this year, we will see the English no.3 James Earles go in as hot favourite to take the winners medal. The event is again been sponsored by local successful business man and new owner of Hull City football club Mr Assem Allam through his business Allam Marine (Generators) Ltd. Mr Allam a keen squash player himself is very keen in supporting to recent increase in juniors taking up the sport in the local area and with the recent national achievements some of the players have reached. The weekend's event will be preceded on Friday evening 19th May by a festival of squash talent. All again sponsored by Allam Marine and hosted at Hull and East Riding squash club, spectators will have the opportunity to see the top juniors in the area train with top England players. There will be 2 top matches to entertain the crowd with local boy James Earles ( No 3 U19) taking on Adam Auckland (No5 U19). To finish the evening local player and highly ranked world squash star Laurence Delasaux plays England's John Kemp world no 20 in what should be an superb show of squash talent.

A number of Humber Junior Squash Academy players have represented Yorkshire during the 2013/14 season with many achieving success at the recent Inter County Finals held on 18/19 January 2014.
